Well this is my last blog!
Well the school year is almost over, prom season is in full swing, and people are finding their roommates for college (except me because I still do not know if I have gotten accepted!!). The end of the school year is exciting and it’s crazy that people think that just because they have finished high school that their life is going to magically change. It’s not. If you never studied in high school, never listened in class, always feel asleep during lectures and never turned in homework you are going to do the same thing in college. So unless these people learn they will most likely just party their parents money away at some college where all their friends have all decided to go and room together. I know most people think that the first few years of college are to find yourself and all that nonsense but really if you don’t know who you are yet or what you want to do with the rest of your life you probably will just pick something that you will think that will be easy.
Well I am happy to be done with high school and start doing something that I know I love. Also I will finally be getting out of Ohio! I am so happy about that. I have been stuck here for way to long. Yes I know that Avon Lake has good schools and test scores and all that stuff but really I think I could have done just as well at another school in a state I like but we moved here for my dad’s job. I am so grateful that my dad doesn’t have to worry about losing his job. But I am finally getting out of doge.
I'm so jealous you're done with high school!! I want to get out of ohio as soon as possible. Blah,one more year for me!! Good luck out in the real world!

ReplyDeleteOk not to be devil's advocate, but bad weather and annoying people are not specific to avon lake or even ohio. I don't know what you would've expected to be different if you went to high school somewhere else, but I feel like all the things everyone complains about in avon lake are pretty common to high schools everywhere
ReplyDeleteAGREED. I can't handle school anymore and so strongly dislike having to come back on a day to day basis to do nothing.. or atleast it seems like nothing! Good luck being out of Ohio!
ReplyDeleteokay well first of all highschools everywhere are filled with the same ignorant people with the same useless drama. thats america for you. and guess what? it doesnt get any better after high school. theres always going to be stupid people with stupid drama. get over it. yes i never studied in highschool, never listened to lectures, didnt pay attention and basically never gave a "f". but thats because highschool is basically useless knowledge that i will never need or already understand. i still got into the college i wanted to, got some money off, still scored a 27 on my act, and have enjoyed my life fully. but because i didnt study in highschool that must mean im going to be a failure at life. oh well sucks for me
