So Done With School

Everyone looks forward to the end of the school year but no one as much as seniors!

I know that I am looking forward to the end of this school year.

Too bad I still don’t know where I’m going. I have to wait till June or July to hear from PIMS and if I do not get accepted I guess I’ll just go to LCCC. I still haven’t decided if I am going to apply to John A. Gupton College in Tennessee.
Well at the very least I will be getting college credit for being part of the TEE program. If I end up at staying home (which would be cruel and unusually punishment) and going to LCCC I would get out of a lot of English classes. They also said I would get out of English at PIMS too which is lovely because it will save my parents money.

Let’s Talk about TEE!
Well the kids are very different than what I think my class was like when we were in 8th grade.
They are all so tall and I feel like a little person walking around.
They are also so crazy I cannot believe some of the things they wear!
But there still are the really nice and good kids who do not back talk the teacher
And do their work and take notes and turn in homework and follow rule and
Do all the things that you are told to do.
I am sure we were the same way in 8th grade but it’s just hard to believe!

College Oh My

Well I have to say I kinda feel like I missed the boat for college. My original plan was to stay home for my first two years and go to LCCC and then transfer to Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. But I found out that if I go out of state for mortuary science college I could start right out of high school and then be done will school in two year. I have visited many different mortuary science college and I feel in love with Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. The classes I am taking with TEE will give me college credit there too and then I will be able to get out of my English classes.
But see everyone has already applied and found out if they have gotten in to the schools they wanted but I am just starting. I know its not a big deal but I have to say I never payed any attention to what you need to do to apply for college, like all the scholarships and stuff. But I think I got a handle on it, well at least I hope.
So we have switched classes for TEE again and now I am in an 8th grade math class room. I had the teacher when I was in 8th grade and I always enjoyed her class and it is really cool being able to see a teacher teach students who are in the same spot you used to be in. And I really enjoy the class even though some of the students are a little difficult but it just makes the class more interesting.

OGT week GRRRR

Well OGT week is not as great for me as everyone else because of TEE. I love TEE but sometimes it really messes with my day. Because I passed the OGT my 10th grade year I should be able to sleep in but nooo I do not get to because I have to go to my new placement in 8th grade math.
I know I am gonna love the class because I loved the teacher when I had her when I was in 8th grade. But because of OGT week I don’t get to sleep in late like everyone else because I have to go to my placement in the morning.

I understand why the school has to move the times of the classes around but they really don’t factor the kids who do other things during the school day off campus. I know the kids who go to JVS also have problems all week because their classes at the JVS are at the same time as their classes at high school.
Well today I didn’t have to go out to LCCC so I got to go to my new placement and it was so much fun. The kids were taking a test all period but I got to grade some of their tests when they were done. Also I was helping the teacher set up for PIE day. Which is this Wednesday March 14!! Everyone should eat pie to make their day better!
Gotta say I forgot about this blog and I feel silly doing it on my Friday night when there are so many other things that I could be doing but I gotta keep my grade so I can play with dead people.
